Orlistat 120 mg.

Indications
Treatment of obese patients with a body mass index
(BMI) greater or equal to 30 kg/m², or overweight
patients (BMI > 28 kg/m²) with associated risk factors in conjunction with a mildly hypocaloric diet.

Dosage
The recommended dose of Smart-Look is one 120 mg
capsule taken with water immediately before, during or up to one hour after each main meal. If a meal is missed or contains no fat, the dose of Smart-Look should be omitted.

Box of 1, 2 or 3 strips, each strip of 10 capsules.

Clinical Pharmacology
Orlistat is a potent, specific and long-acting inhibitor of gastrointestinal lipases. It exerts its therapeutic activity in the lumen of the stomach and small intestine by forming a covalent bond with the active serine site of the gastric and pancreatic lipases. The inactivated enzyme is thus unavailable to hydrolyse dietary fat, in the form of triglycerides, into absorbable free fatty acids and monoglycerides.
