Composition
- Tablet: Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg.
- Syrup: Cetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg/5 ml.

Indications
- Relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal
and perennial allergic rhinitis.
- Relief of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Dosage
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
10 mg once daily.
- Children 6 - 12 years: 5 mg twice daily.
- Children 2 - 6 years: 2.5 mg twice daily.

- Tablets: Boxes of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 strips, each strip of 10 tablets.
- Syrup: Bottle of 60 ml.

Pharmacological Action
- Cetirizine is a potent and selective antagonist of peripheral H1-receptors.
- Cetirizine has an anti-allergic activities.
- Cetirizine inhibits the late phase recruitment of eosinophils in the skin and conjunctiva of
atopic subjects submitted to allergen challenge.
