Composition
Each 1 ml contains Ketorolac tromethamine 5 mg.

Indications
Fam eye drops exerts an anti-inflammatory effect,
which is indicated in the following conditions:
1. Relief of itching due to seasonal alergic conjunctivitis.
2. Reducing postoperative inflammation after cataract extraction.

Dosage
To relief ocular itching due to seasonal allergic conjunctivitis:
One drop 4 times daily.
Treatment of postoperative inflammation:
One drop 4 times daily. Beginning 24 hours after cataract surgery and continuing through the 2 weeks of the postoperative period.

How Supplied
White opaque plastic bottle (5 ml) with a controlled
dropper tip and an inner leaflet.

Mechanism of action
It exerts its anti-inflammatory effect in part through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
Ocular administration of ketorolac tromethamine reduces PGE 2 levels in aqueous humor.

Special Populations
Pregnancy and Lactation:
The use of Fam ophthalmic solution during late pregnancy should be avoided.
Nursing Mothers:
Caution should be taken when Fam ophthalmic solution is administered to a nursing women.
Pediatric Use:
Safety and efficacy below the age of 12 have not been established.
