Composition
Pentoxifylline 400 mg.

Indications
Rebcoflex® CR is indicated for the treatment of patients with intermittent claudication on the basis of chronic occlusive arterial disease of the limbs.

Dosage
One tablet 3 times daily with meals.

How Supplied
Box of 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 strips, each strip of 10 tablets.

Special Populations
Pregnancy:
Category C, Rebcoflex® CR should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Lactation:
Pentoxifylline and its metabolites are excreted in human milk.
Pediatric use:
Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
Geriatric use:
Reported clinical experience has not identified differences in responses between the elderly and younger patients.


Pharmacokinetics
Pentoxifylline and its metabolites improve the flow properties of blood by decreasing its viscosity, increasing blood flow to the affected microcirculation and enhancing tissue oxygenation, and lowering blood viscosity, and improving erythrocyte flexibility.
